It’s time for a Back-to-School Bike Bus!
On Friday, August 21, OBE students and their families are invited to meet at the main OB lifeguard tower between 6:45 and 7 a.m., where they’ll be greeted by SDPD and Circulate San Diego. At 7:15 a.m., students and families will bike, walk, roll, skip and move to school together, arriving in time for the first bell at 7:40 a.m.
Officers from SDPD will assist in keeping all car traffic off the road, so everyone can have a safe trip to school!
Don’t forget to protect those noggins! Helmets are required for anyone on riding on wheels.
If you don’t have a helmet, we have a few free ones thanks to a donation from Circulate San Diego. Just stop by the P.E. room next week and Coach Howard will get you fitted!
Hope you can join for this fun community event promoting active ways to get to school! *For those not participating, before school activities and breakfast will continue as usual on campus.
