It’s been an incredible year for sports fans across Santa Clara County. With Super Bowl LX and the FIFA World Cup 2026 now in the rearview mirror, the Office of Emergency Management extends our appreciation to everyone who helped keep these major events safe and memorable.

Years of coordination with local, state, and federal partners ensured we were aligned on every detail needed to protect our communities. A special thank you to the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office , Santa Clara County Fire Department , Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority , County of Santa Clara Public Health Department and our city partners whose support kept residents and visitors moving safely throughout the festivities.

We’re also grateful to the City of Santa Clara for hosting and keeping the center of the action secure, and to the City of San José for supporting safe watch parties across the community.

From touchdowns to goals, we moved together every step of the way—and your partnership made all the difference.
