We have so many rabbits and guinea pigs available to adopt. Rabbits and guinea pigs can make excellent pets for those with a smaller space. They are social and interactive with their owners, and many can even be litter box trained. We have multiple bonded pairs for those looking to adopt more than one.

These adorable pets are just $10 to adopt.

*We do have a few that are already spayed or neutered as well! Altered rabbits are $60 to adopt.

Visit our website or the shelter during business hours to meet all of our adoptable small furry pets.

We love happy updates. We received this happy message from the adopter of Otis.

I recently celebrated my one-year anniversary of adopting my beloved Otis from the SLO Animal Services Shelter.

Otis celebrated with party attire and a special treat.

Having Otis has been a blessing and I love him so much.

Thank you for adopting! ❤🐾❤

Are looking for a hiking buddy? Meet Marnie! Marnie had a rough time before she landed at our shelter, full of fleas and scared of everybody. She is still fearful when meeting new people but once you spend a little time with her she is loyal to you. She loves other dogs and has not shown any aggressive behavior even when she is afraid. I took Marnie hiking and we had a blast, she can hike for miles and walks great on the leash. She would probably do great with another dog in the house that could show her how to be a dog!

Call 805-781-4400 to meet Marnie, A339991 today!

Meet Dice! He is available for adoption at SLO County Animal Shelter and has quickly become a volunteer and staff favorite. He is a senior who loves car rides, strolls around the park or beach and lots of pets and hugs. He is very quiet, not reactive to other dogs and loves to meet anyone who will pet him. This guy really deserves a home to spend his golden years. Dice will reward you with love and smiles everday!

Call 805-781-4400 to meet Dice A215363 today!
