Many members of the community, as well as members of the press, have reached out to me regarding the recent FBI raids involving the Contra Costa County Assessor's Office, Assessor Gus Kramer, and Assessor-elect Vince Robb. Many have asked for my thoughts. Here is my opinion:

While everyone is entitled to due process and the investigation should be allowed to proceed independently, these developments are deeply concerning. The people of Contra Costa County deserve transparency, accountability, and confidence that their government is operating with the highest ethical standards.

As I stated throughout my campaign, public trust is earned through integrity, openness, and accountability. I encourage everyone to follow the facts as they emerge and allow the investigation to run its course.

Our community deserves answers, transparency, and leadership that puts the public first.

Thank you, Contra Costa County!

I am deeply honored and grateful for 25,560 voters who supported our campaign. While the results were not what we hoped for, I am proud of the positive movement we built together.

A heartfelt thank you to every volunteer, supporter, donor, friend, and family member who dedicated countless hours making calls, knocking on doors, posting yard signs, attending events, and spreading our message throughout the county.

Most importantly, thank you to every voter who participated in this election. Democracy works because people get involved.

This campaign may be ending, but my commitment to serving our community continues. I am excited for what lies ahead and look forward to remaining engaged in making Contra Costa County an even better place for all.

Taxpayers deserve accountability, transparency, and modernization in the Assessor’s Office.

I’m running because families are struggling with affordability while government systems remain outdated, slow, and difficult to navigate. Property tax appeals can take years, transparency is limited, and taxpayers keep being asked for more money while many cities face budget deficits.

As a business owner with 20+ years of assessment and modernization experience, I will bring private-sector efficiency and public accountability to the office.

My priorities are simple:
• Faster property tax appeals
• Modern online services and transparency
• Fair and accurate assessments
• Better customer service
• Accountability to taxpayers
• No more “business as usual”
