The City of Sartell will officially launch YouTube Live streaming for the August 24th City Council meeting. This new platform will provide the public with an easy way to watch meetings live and access recordings after the meeting concludes.

Moving forward, all City Council meetings will be streamed live on the City's YouTube channel, and recordings of past meetings will be archived there for on-demand viewing.

The City of Sartell has permitted bow hunting within City limits on qualifying properties- check it out if you’re interested!

Bow Hunting Permits Now Available

With bow hunting season almost upon us, the City of Sartell would like to remind residents that bow hunting is now permitted within city limits on qualifying private property with an approved City permit.

Bow hunting is limited to private property with at least 5 contiguous acres and is not allowed on City-owned property, parks, trails, school property, commercial properties, or high-density residential properties.

To help ensure the safety of residents and surrounding properties, hunters must follow all required setbacks, Minnesota DNR hunting regulations, obtain landowner permission when hunting on property they do not own, and successfully obtain a city bow hunting permit before hunting within city limits. All permit applications will be reviewed and approved by the Sartell Police Division.

The City Council meeting scheduled for August 10 has been cancelled, and the special meeting originally planned for that evening has been moved to August 24.

We encourage residents to join us for the next regular City Council meeting on Monday, August 24, at 6:00 p.m. Thank you for staying informed and engaged with your local government!

Our Engagement Team stopped by today to celebrate the grand reopening of Añejos Mexican Cuisine and welcome them into this exciting new chapter.

With a beautifully renovated space (check the comments for a sneak peek!), a new seafood menu, signature cocktails, and the same authentic flavors and warm hospitality the community has come to love, there's plenty to celebrate!

National Night Out is almost here, and we can't wait to see everyone on Tuesday, August 4th from 5:30–8:00 p.m. at the Sartell Community Center!

We've added even more fun this year, including:
🐾 A live K9 Echo demonstration at 7:00 p.m.
🫧 A Foam Pit Party to help everyone cool off
🎯 Games and giveaways from our friends at SCHEELS St. Cloud
🏰 Bounce houses
🌭 Free hot dogs (while supplies last)
🎶 Music, kids activities, and so much more!

This event wouldn't be possible without the incredible support of our community. A special thank you to the Sartell Student Council, the Senior Connection, and Miss Sartell for volunteering their time to help make this a fun, safe, and memorable evening for everyone. We truly appreciate your willingness to serve our community!

The City of Sartell has an opening on the Park Commission due to a commissioner relocating, and we're looking for a community-minded resident to help shape the future of our parks, trails, and recreational spaces.

As a Park Commissioner, you can expect to:
✅ Attend regular commission meetings- typically a monthly Wednesday morning at 7 AM
✅ Provide input and recommendations on park improvements and recreational amenities
✅ Help guide long-range planning for Sartell's parks and trail system
✅ Represent the interests of residents and support community engagement
✅ Work collaboratively with fellow commissioners, City staff, and elected officials

This is a great opportunity to make a lasting impact on the quality of life in our community while helping ensure Sartell's parks continue to serve residents for generations to come.
