Last evening, SEDA and the Georgia Ports Authority had the opportunity to host the Foreign Press Center which included 13 journalists from across the world representing Germany, France, Vietnam, South Korea, Canada, Finland, Japan and Sweden.

It was a great opportunity to speak with them about the Savannah region. While here they will see the Port of Savannah, hear from companies that use the port including World Trade Center Savannah International Business of the Year winner Ardry Trading Company, Inc. - Ardry Supply, Inc. Other visits on their itinerary include Savannah Technical College, Brasseler USA, JCB, Preciball, and more!

During SEDA's May Board of Directors meeting, board members and guests were introduced to GeorgiaFIRST Robotics, an initiative that motivates youth to take on leadership roles in science and technology through various programs, including the FIRST Robotics Competition. This competition involves teams that design, program and construct robots using a standard kit of parts and a shared set of rules to compete in a themed head-to-head challenge.
