❤️ It’s Red Ribbon Week!

This week is a reminder of the importance of making healthy choices, staying informed, and looking out for one another. Prevention starts with conversations, connection, and knowing that you don’t have to face difficult situations alone.

Whether you’re a student, parent, educator, or community member, we all have a role to play in creating a healthier, stronger community. ❤️

Let’s keep the conversation going, support one another, and make choices that help us be our best selves.

Ni****ne pouches may look different from other to***co products, but they still contain ni****ne - and ni****ne is highly addictive.

Some pouches can contain high levels of ni****ne, and ni****ne can affect the developing brain, making youth and young adults particularly vulnerable.

‼️ This is the latest trend in youth ni****ne use, including among athletes and college-aged students.

Swipe through to separate myth from fact and get the information you need to make informed choices. 🧠

Know the facts. Start the conversation.

🍂 Fall check-in, Scituate.

The school year is in full swing, schedules are getting busy, and it can be easy to forget to check in with yourself.

So take a minute: How are you really doing? 🤎

Check in with yourself. Check in with your friends. And remember, you don't have to handle everything on your own. 🫶

Some quick reminders. 💙

Your mental health matters just as much as your friends’ does.

While you’re checking in on the people around you, don’t forget to check in with yourself, too. Take a moment to pause, recharge, and ask yourself what you need.

You can be there for your friends without forgetting to be there for yourself.

Your teen just told you they drank. What do you say? 🤔

Your first reaction can set the tone for what happens next. Instead of reacting with anger or judgment, try to keep the conversation open.

Swipe through for some “Say This, Not That” examples to help you respond with curiosity, calm, and support. 💙

You don’t have to have the perfect response - you just have to keep the conversation going. 💬

If your friend is struggling, you don’t have to have all the answers.

You can listen. You can check in. You can encourage them to talk to someone they trust. And if you’re worried about them, you can ask for help, too. 💙

Talking with your teen about alcohol, drugs, and peer pressure doesn’t have to be one big, serious conversation. It can start with small, everyday moments that build trust and keep the door open.

Start early. Keep the conversation going. Ask questions. And listen.

Because sometimes, the most important thing you can do is simply keep talking.
