What is GEN CON? The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission’s Generation Conservation initiative aims to provide an authentic learning environment for teachers and K-12 students in Arkansas to engage and compete in AGFC programming and offerings. This educational summit brings awareness to the role that AGFC plays in the state, creating spaces for students and educators to learn directly from conservation professionals. This competition is open to public, private, charter and homeschool students.

AGFC will hold its 2nd annual Generation Conservation summit at the Hot Springs Convention Center and Bank OZK Arena on Nov. 4-5. The summit will bring together students from around the state will face off in conservation-related competitions for bragging rights, prizes and possible additional funding for their school.

4-H members, families, foundation members, & special guests are ALL invited to attend!
All record book winners will be receiving awards plus many others!

A meal will be followed by an awards program conducted by our Teen Leaders. The dress will be business professional, and the theme is “Lights, Camera, 4-H: A Night on the Green Carpet”!! We will have a great time celebrating all that YOU have achieved this past year!

👏👏Our White County 4-H Horse Quiz Bowl State Champion team competed alongside Benton Co 4-H members to represent Arkansas at the National Quarter Horse Congress in Columbus, Ohio last week! They had a great time & represented our state & county well! Congratulations! Special thanks to their coach Sheryl Ginsburg for helping them all year!👏👏
