We extend our sincere thanks to Elisabetta Valentini for coordinating this special gathering, which will be held again in the near future!

Thank you to everyone who joined our recent virtual cooking class featuring Zuppa di Farro e Legumi, a traditional Umbrian spelt and legume soup. Guided by Italian cooking instructor Paola Albanesi, participants enjoyed a warm and engaging experience that went beyond the recipe.
Together, we explored the flavors and traditions of Umbrian seasonal home cooking while connecting across Seattle and Perugia. Blending hands-on instruction, cultural storytelling, and conversation, the class was both inspiring and delicious, a meaningful celebration of food, culture, and community.

We recently enjoyed a wonderful visit to the Bakke Coffee Museum in Seattle, a unique space that celebrates the history and culture of coffee through an extraordinary private collection of over 800 large and small espresso machines and related artifacts, most of them from Italy and other corners of the world.
We greatly appreciated the insightful explanations shared by Kent Bakke and Abby Impanbutr, and our president, Mark Ippolito, briefly thanked them for their kind hospitality in welcoming us to the museum, which made the experience even more special. The visit, organized for SPSCA members, was truly enjoyable for all attendees, who sipped freshly prepared coffee while exploring this one-of-a-kind space.
The Bakke Coffee Museum welcomes visitors year-round, with guided tours by appointment, walk-in visits on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month, and regular special events.👉 Learn more at www.bakkecoffeemuseum.com
