De La Soil Restaurant's "Dinner with Friends" returns for Season Two!

Dinner with Friends is a series of intimate, multi-course collaborative dinners that brings together Co-owners and Chefs Cody and Andrea Westerfield and celebrated chefs from across the Pacific Northwest, with each course paired with Copperworks Distilling Co.'s acclaimed craft spirits.

Season Two opens Wednesday, October 28, with Chefs Reginald Jacob Howell and Denzel Johnson of Tacoma's Grann.

Chefs Reginald Jacob Howell and Denzel Johnson met in college while each was launching a catering business of their own. In April 2025, they went all in on opening Grann together in Tacoma, where dishes like goat gumbo and papadums have drawn diners from across the region. Fresh off Food Network's "Pitmasters," the South Sound duo kicks off season two in the De La Soil kitchen.

Following the devastating Spokane Complex Fire in August, Copperworks Distilling Co. turned to a wh***ey rooted in the region to support the communities affected by the disaster.

Throughout August, the Seattle-based distillery pledged to donate $20 from every bottle of 𝐅𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐬𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐭 𝐖𝐡𝐢𝐬𝐤𝐞𝐲 sold to the H.O.M.E. Starts Here Spokane Complex Fire Relief Fund. Thanks to the support of its customers, Copperworks raised $2,240 for the fund, which provides short- and long-term rent assistance, medical equipment, transportation services, and other critical resources to help the community recover.

This weekend, Skagit Valley opens its family farms to visitors, pours craft b**r in Anacortes, hangs nearly 200 works of art in La Conner's Maple Hall, and sends the season's first ghost walk down the dark streets of Concrete.

Pumpkin Spice Lattes are back, while pumpkins are popping up at grocery stores and farmers stands, and October will be here before we know it!

Save the date for Copperworks Distilling- Kenmore's 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐝 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐮𝐦𝐩𝐤𝐢𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 on Sunday, October 18, from 11 am to 2 pm.

The team at Copperworks will be handing out pumpkins for your little ones and keeping paint pens at the ready alongside other craft supplies and activities. Paint, play, and soak in thematic music and a festive atmosphere. Costumes are optional, but encouraged.

Chef Andrea Westerfield of De La Soil will be on the scene with a sugar cookie decorating setup, and and serving Gloom coffee and cozy hot cocoa, in addition to Copperworks' normal beverage menu.
