Barks & Books is coming to the Seguin Public Library!

Join ARF-TX and our special guest, Clovis the Standard Poodle, for an evening of storytelling, learning, and wagging tails.

📅 Monday, Oct. 19 at 6 PM
📍 Seguin Public Library, 313 W Nolte St, Seguin, TX 78155
All ages welcome. Registration required.

What to expect:

A live reading of I Saw A Dog At School Today, with signed copies available for purchase
An interactive lesson on the important role service animals play, including the “Golden Rule” for safely and respectfully meeting service dogs in public
A meet & greet with Clovis, where kids can pick up exclusive trading cards and activity coloring sheets

Bring the whole family for a fun, educational night centered on literacy and service animal awareness! 🐾

💜 Today, our library staff proudly participated in , a day dedicated to raising awareness about domestic violence and showing support for survivors.

Thriving Hearts Crisis Center invited our staff to wear purple as a visible symbol of solidarity with those affected by domestic violence, and we embraced the initiative wholeheartedly. Our participation reflects the library’s commitment to fostering awareness, compassion, and support for survivors in our community.

To all survivors: We see you, we hear you, and we stand with you. You are not alone. 💜

We had a fun time at Teen Tuesday! Teens got creative and put their own twist on the waffle maker. Thanks to everyone who joined us!

Teen Tuesdays are held every Tuesday for ages 12–17, from 4:30–5:30 p.m. Drop in anytime and choose from a variety of activities, games, and crafts.
