πŸŽ‰ Congratulations to the PreK–5th grade students at Carrabec Community School for an incredible year in the 100 Mile Club program! πŸŽ‰

A total of 81 students logged an amazing 3,440 miles, and we're excited to celebrate these two students who earned their 100 Mile Club medals on Thursday! πŸ…πŸ‘

A very special shoutout goes to Patti Theberge, our dedicated 100 Mile Club Champion. Patti not only makes the morning walking program possible every Monday through Friday in the gym, but she also collects and tracks student miles and organizes the entire program throughout the school year. Her hard work, dedication, and enthusiasm help make this opportunity possible for so many students!

We'd also like to recognize the CCS staff who support the program by getting the students moving and encouraging them each day. As well as a big shout out to the parents who make the extra effort to bring their children to school early so they can participate.

This achievement is truly a team effort, and together you've helped students build healthy habits, stay active, and have fun. As summer begins, we encourage all of our 100 Mile Club participants to keep moving, whether it's walking, biking, hiking, swimming, or playing outside with friends and family. Every mile counts, and we can't wait to see where your adventures take you this summer! β˜€οΈπŸ‘ŸπŸŒ³

πŸ’™A race that gives back! πŸ’™

We are excited to present Madison Junior Senior High School with a check for $510 from the proceeds of our 5th Annual 5K & Youth Fun Run/Walk!

Madison Jr./Sr. High School earned this donation by having the highest percentage of student and staff participation in the race. The funds will be used toward a school wellness initiative of their choice, helping to support healthy, active lifestyles for their students.

Thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered, and supported this event. Your involvement not only made for a fun and active community day, but also helped invest in student wellness right here in Somerset County.

Congratulations, Madison Jr./Sr. High School! We can't wait to see the positive impact these funds will make. πŸ‘ŸπŸ«
