Ink, imagination, and creativity are flowing in Ms. Sauve’s art classes! 🎨✍️

Students are participating in Inktober, a month-long art challenge designed to build skills and encourage positive drawing habits. Using daily prompts as inspiration, students are creating incredible artwork in a variety of mediums, and they are absolutely loving the challenge. We’re so proud of their creativity and dedication! 💜

Catalina started at our school during Covid, but says the friends and memories she made while enrolled made her choose to stay. Catalina attends almost all of our field trips and has a great group of friends she met here that she spends time with outside of school (including her best friend)! 💜🤝

Catalina always knew she wanted to be a police officer and work in a K9 unit, so when she had the opportunity to join the Young Marines program, a group for 8-18 year olds who want to learn about the Marine Corps, she knew it was for her! Our school allows her the flexibility to attend this weekly program and also complete the community service projects within the organization. 🐕⭐

Catalina is an outstanding student at our school and embodies the characteristics of a true leader and friend to all! She credits her faith and her family with helping her achieve all she sets out to do! Way to go, Catalina! 🎉🤍

Meet Diane Kreh, one of our incredible 2nd-grade teachers! 💜

For the past 6 years, Diane has been helping students learn, grow, and gain confidence at Lighthouse Connections Academy. She loves building meaningful connections with her students and supporting them as they overcome challenges and reach new milestones. ✨

When she's not teaching, Diane enjoys playing the piano, singing, walking and biking, and spending time with her family. 🎹🎵🚶‍♀️🚴‍♀️

Her advice for prospective families: Be patient, stay organized, communicate regularly with teachers, and find a routine that works best for your student. Remember, our teachers and school community are here to support your family every step of the way. 💜
