This sweet boy is 8 weeks old and full of personality. Dash is a black and white parti poodle with the cutest markings and the happiest little spirit. He’s curious, playful, and always ready to explore, but he also loves snuggles and being close to his people. This little girl has the sweetest, calmest presence. She’s the kind of puppy that quietly observes everything around her, soaking it all in with those soulful eyes. Poppy loves being close, enjoys gentle cuddles, and already carries that classic poodle grace mixed with a bit of playful curiosity.

✨ Puppy Care Prep in Progress ✨

One of the many behind-the-scenes tasks that goes into raising healthy, happy puppies is proper deworming done on schedule. 🐾
Pictured here is our wormer prepped and ready in individual syringes for our poodle litter.

🐶 Why deworming is so important:
Puppies are commonly born with or exposed to intestinal parasites, even when mom appears perfectly healthy. These parasites can affect growth, digestion, and overall development if not addressed early.

📅 Why we follow a schedule:
Deworming isn’t a one and done process. Puppies are dewormed at specific intervals to safely and effectively eliminate parasites as they grow. Following a consistent schedule helps:
• Support proper weight gain
• Promote healthy digestion
• Reduce parasite load early
• Set puppies up for a strong start in life

We believe in preventative care, attention to detail, and doing things the right way even when it’s time consuming. Every puppy in our care is treated as if they’re staying forever. 💕

Healthy beginnings matter, and this is just one small part of the love and care that goes into raising our babies. 🐩✨

✨Why We Start Separating Littermates at Feeding Time ✨

As our puppies grow, so do their needs and one important step in their development is separate feeding time.

By feeding puppies individually or in small, separated spaces, we’re able to:

🐾 Ensure every puppy eats well
Each puppy gets their fair share without being pushed aside by a more confident eater.

🐾 Monitor appetite and health
It allows us to clearly see how much each puppy is eating and quickly notice any changes.

🐾 Reduce food guarding behaviors
Early separation during meals helps prevent competition and resource guarding later in life.

🐾 Build confidence and independence
Puppies learn to focus on their own food and feel comfortable eating without relying on littermates.

🐾 Create positive feeding habits
Calm, stress-free meals set the foundation for healthy routines in their future homes.

This is a gentle, age-appropriate step that supports both physical growth and emotional development, and it helps set our puppies up for success as they continue to mature. 💕🐶
