Being in a play space with other families is invaluable to building your child’s character. Children ca

n practice introducing themselves, taking turns, problem solving, and making friends in a fun, safe environment. Connection

The same way children learn by watching other children, parents have a lot to learn from one another. Whether they sit with coffee or jump in and play, the connections made will leave caregivers feeling recharged and ready for the days ahead. In providing opportunities for parents and caregivers to teach classes, we anticipate many hidden talents to come to light.

This "2 cool" 😎🖤💙 little guy and his family took a chance on a BRAND NEW space and hosted their second birthday celebration with us! Looking back there is a lot that has changed in our party packages and how we host and decorate... but one thing that has remained the same is the AWESOME families that chose to host their celebrations in our space!

When Building Block first opened, we were a shell of the space we are now! Through hard work, saving, determination, and grit we have slowly added more to the "vision" of the play space! One of the things that we are so proud of is our "tiny town".

Since imaginative play is at the core of our beliefs, having a true space for kids to play and imagine was extremely important to what Building Block held dear! For two years we hosted hours of fun with our original tiny town in the back of the studio... but in August of 2024 we began the "build out" of what is now our dream imaginary play area! Valerie drew the models, Jeremy measured📏/cut🪚/framed, and the whole family painted & decorated!

Camp FAQs:
1. Do I have to stay at camp with my child?
-If your little one is comfortable using the restroom by themselves, then you may absolutely drop them off for the duration of camp!
2. What do they need to bring?
- Socks or ballet shoes! They may want to bring a water bottle! Optional: dress as your favorite KPOP Demon Hunters Character!
3. What activities will my child participate in during camp?
- Each day dancers will learn dance and rhythm basics while jamming out to KPOP Demon Hunters songs! Each day campers will also work on a KPOP themed craft and listen to stories! At the end of camp the campers will get to enjoy play time at the play studio!

4. Who is teaching this camp?
- Miss. Celina is the head Ballet Mistress at Gary Geis dance studio and we are lucky enough for her to be leading this camp! Miss. Valerie will be helping out as well as monitoring play time in the studio after the dance portion!

5. Does my child need to have dance experience?
- ABSOLUTELY NOT! This is a perfect way to see if your child is interested in dance all while enjoying their favorite tunes from the hit movie!!!
