8th Grade Parents…please encourage your student to come to the 8th Grade Party on Friday. It will be fun, we will have pizza, Andy’s, lots of games, activities and great prizes! Parents, you can sign your student out when we get back to Pershing around 2:15-2:30. If they lost or threw away their permission slip, here is another one. Please print and have them take back to school. It isn’t too late. Thank you!!!

I would like to introduce you all to the 2026-2027 Pershing Middle School PTSA Board Members! I have had the privilege of being on the board all three years my daughter has gone to Pershing. It has been such a great experience, and I am going to miss everyone so much! I have met many great families, teachers, and staff. I joined to get to know as many people as possible, stay in the loop and try to communicate everything I could to the families of Pershing. Thank you all for making the last three years the best! We have left you in such good hands for next school year with the Board Members and Committee Chairs!

8th Grade Families,
We are so excited for the Class of 2030 8th Grade Party on May 22 from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM at the Risdal Teen Center! This is going to be an unforgettable afternoon packed with games, food, music, raffles, crafts, and fun as we celebrate our amazing 8th graders before they head off to high school.

Students can look forward to:
Pickleball, basketball, ping pong, 9-square, pool tables & more
Jewelry making, coloring, & crafts
Music & photo booth fun
Lunch + Andy’s frozen custard bar
Door Prize raffles including Bass Pro, Staxx, Springfield Cardinals, 7 Brew, Chipotle, Lunkers tickets, Andy’s, Braum’s and more!
Transportation will be provided to and from the Risdal Teen Center.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS:
• Permission slips must be turned in before the event for students to attend - please turn in by Monday, May 18th
• Students will return to Pershing at approximately 2:15 PM
• You can check your student out from Pershing as early as 2:15 PM if you choose
• Students should come ready to have FUN and celebrate together!

We cannot wait to give the Class of 2030 an incredible send-off and make some lasting memories together!
