Get your teens signed up for the 2026 DEA and PAL Teen Leadership Academy today! The one day event will be held on Saturday, September 26th at the Saint Louis County and Municipal Police Academy.

In addition to being an outstanding resume builder, attendees will leave the event with important knowledge of applying for jobs and school, money management, using social media to their benefit, and will have the opportunity to engage with active DEA and Saint Louis County Police officers.

On Saturday, The Saint Louis County Police Department participated in the 2026 Guardian Games in support of Missouri Special Olympics, and what a great experience it was for everyone involved.

The event was a tremendous success and provided an outstanding opportunity for law enforcement and community members to come together through teamwork, friendly competition, and camaraderie. It was great to see so many agencies represented while promoting fitness, professionalism, and positive.

While we were certainly competing, the true victory was being part of such a well-organized event that brought people together and showcased the dedication and spirit of those who serve our communities.

Today, PAL campers hosted wonderful guests from the APA, the Animal Protective Association, who taught valuable lessons about being safe around cats and dogs by knowing key body language indicators, the importance of neutering pets, and how to care for a pet as a member of the family!

Campers continued the visit by adopting a stuffed friend of their own, designed an animal shelter, and finally got to test out their newly learned skills by greeting a new friend, Charlie.
