Everything came together for a truly electric evening at the Curious Nature opening this past Friday at the Link Auditorium Gallery. The energy in the room was undeniable, and the incredible turnout made it all the more special—thank you to everyone who showed up to support the artists and the Link!

A huge shoutout to Alicia LaChance for her thoughtful curation and for assembling such a dynamic, all-star group of artists. The exhibition is as compelling as it is beautifully realized.

We’re especially grateful to the artists for sharing their exceptional creativity and for bringing their communities along—their work fills the space with fresh perspective, vibrancy, and life.

Much appreciation to our marketing team, Thomas McGrath, Brooke and H**e for the dedication and care they poured into this event, both behind the scenes and throughout the evening—it truly made a difference.

And thank you to Farshid Etniko for the stunning live acoustic performance that wove seamlessly into the atmosphere of the show.

Stay tuned—more events and moments to come as Curious Nature continues to unfold!

Introducing the fourth in Curious Nature’s Artist Feature Series…Lauren Younge!

Lauren Younge is a St. Louis based artist who creates colorful abstract paintings with the intent of brightening people’s lives. In 2016, Lauren graduated from Southeast Missouri State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Art Education. She completed a Masters in Arts Management and Leadership at Webster University in May of 2021. Lauren is drawn to abstract art because it allows her to express herself more freely. Art is her main outlet for relieving stress and exploring thoughts and emotions. Her acquired sense of style incorporates bold colors, texture, and movement. She uses acrylics, acrylic mediums, and inks to create her paintings because of the flexibility that these give her style. The result is an unintentional body of work, created almost by accident. Because her intentions are never set in stone, people’s perception of her work is not either.

See Lauren Younge’s masterpieces at Curious Nature’s opening ceremony on the Link’s big day, April 24🏛️🎨🖌️🌳
