Good afternoon! Just a reminder. If you need the fire department whether it be emergent or non emergent call 911 or the dispatch non-emergent number (594-3333). Town Hall is not the place to call. They do not know if we are out on other calls or are busy. We could even be in a place of no cell service. This only results in a delay of care and response by doing so. Thank you and stay dry!

..FIRE WEATHER WATCH IN EFFECT FROM SATURDAY MORNING THROUGH SATURDAY EVENING FOR CENTRAL ALABAMA...

The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a Fire Weather Watch for Central Alabama, which is in effect from Saturday morning through Saturday evening.

* WINDS...Northeast 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 19 percent.

* IMPACTS...The combination of a dry air mass and windy conditions will result in critical fire weather conditions. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Fire Weather Watch means that critical fire weather conditions are forecast to occur. Listen for later forecasts and possible Red Flag Warnings.
