Join us to create stunning personal cyanotype prints! This historic, camera-less photographic method uses UV light and chemistry to produce striking blue images that become permanent after rinsing. Each participant will have the opportunity to make 2 prints, one using objects to create art and one using a favorite 4x6 photo. Please note we will briefly be going outside, please dress accordingly!

Registration is required, please email the photo that you would like to use at the time of registration to [email protected] All other materials will be provided. You can also bring your photo to the library before the program to be scanned for use if you can not email it.

Ingredients
10 to 11 pounds fresh sour cherries, preferably Morello, or 3 (1-pound, 9-ounce) jars preserved Morello cherries
4 cups brandy
3 cups sugar, plus more as needed
2 cinnamon sticks, broken into pieces
2 to 3 whole cloves
1 (1/4-inch) piece fresh whole nutmeg

Things to be aware of:
Flag Day is Sunday, we have set the red, white & blue lights on the building for the weekend.
Adult Summer Reading opens Monday, all programs open for registration Monday morning at 9:00 am. (Kids Summer Reading starts Thursday, those programs are already open for registration, check them out!)
Normally, the newsletter goes out at 10 am, but I have set it for 8:00 am this coming Monday so people have it for registration. All June programs are in there, but July and August are not. KML is now offering EVENING sessions for American Mahjong! Can't make it for our Thursday morning group? Come play on Wednesday evenings from 6:00 to 7:30 pm! Basic knowledge of the game is required. Mahjong game and 2026 NMJL card will be provided if needed.

Last Day of School Celebration! Wednesday June 17
Join us for a celebration for the last day of school! We'll have pizza, drinks, and snacks in the brick courtyard.

11:30 am - 1 pm or until the food is gone. Weather permitting.

Please note: Food must stay outside the library during this event.

Open to Suffield students, including those schooled at home, and their families. Drop-in. Registration not required. While supplies last.
