🤍 SMS Leadership Announcement!

We are pleased to announce that Mrs. Brandi Fulton will serve as the Principal of Sumrall Middle School for the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year.

Mrs. Fulton brings 10 years of dedicated experience in education to this role, featuring a strong background in both elementary and high school leadership. She is excited to return to her home state to continue her career serving students and the greater Sumrall community.

In her approach to education, Mrs. Fulton views the middle school years as a unique "magic moment." She is committed to fostering an engaging environment where school is enjoyable and students are continuously encouraged to achieve their personal best as they transition toward high school.

Fun Fact: Outside of her professional career in education, Mrs. Fulton brings a unique entrepreneurial background to our district—she previously owned and operated her own cheesecake business!🍰

As we prepare for this leadership transition, we would also like to express our gratitude to Mr. David Morgan. We appreciate his years of dedicated service and leadership, and wish him a very happy and well-deserved retirement.

We are continually amazed by the heart of our community! 💙

The generosity highlighted in this graphic was made possible by donors who stepped in to erase the lunch charge deficits at specific schools across our district. By focusing on individual campuses, these supporters directly lifted a heavy financial burden off the families right in their own neighborhoods.

While many of our schools are now starting with a clean slate, there are still other campuses within our district that carry unpaid meal balances. We humbly welcome any individuals, community groups, or local businesses who might desire to meet the deficits at these remaining schools.

If you feel led to give:
Please reach out directly to the administration of the school you wish to support. They can share their current deficit needs with you and help facilitate your gift so those students can get a fresh start, too.
