We love bringing new opportunities to our families, and this workshop with the amazing Sandra Gonzalez-Mora, M.Ed., was no exception! ✨

Parent workshops are for everyone, and we would love to see even more of our families join us next time as we continue creating opportunities to learn, grow, and strengthen connections at home and within our community. 💛

Thank you to our parents for being open to learning and for sharing your experiences with us. Your participation, honesty, and support help create a stronger and more connected community.

“Hidden Stories is an original student-centered production featuring original script, choreography, and select song lyrics that celebrates agency, courage, and the power of voice,” said April Thomas, Director of the Arts. “Through storytelling and a love of reading, scholars explore identity, reclaim truth, and engage diverse perspectives, rediscovering not only the joy of literacy, but the strength found in unity and community. Join the Shine LA Community Clean- up and Resource Fair on:

Saturday, January 24, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 pm at 8133 Vineland Avenue!

This event is in partnership with the Mayor of Los Angeles, Karen Bass, the Sun Valley Area Neighborhood Council, and local organizations!

ISANA Cardinal Academy will be at the resource fair! We look forward to meeting more families from our community!

kicked off last week’s performance of Newsies Jr. with an unforgettable opening day!

It was incredible to witness how our students and VAPA instructors helped the audience understand why the Newsies went on strike, how they formed the union, and the importance of fighting for what’s right!

During this season of giving, families from came together for a great cause!

They donated canned goods and other items to the East Valley YMCA!

Anthony Cruz, the Executive Director, was immensely thankful for the food donations and the generosity of the ISANA Cardinal community!

made this holiday season brighter for our families by offering coupons to pick up a free Thanksgiving basket.

In addition to these amazing contributions, provided Thanksgiving baskets to 25 families.

Acts of kindness like these reflect the true spirit of giving! We all can make a difference in our community!

We could not be prouder of the impact that the ISANA Cardinal Folklorico Group is having within the San Fernando Valley!
