We're excited to kick off the new school year with our annual Back to School Bash today August 5, 2026, from 3:00PM to 7:00PM at Jensen Hall, Lassen County Fairgrounds!
Our goal is to help local student's start the school year prepared and confident, and we couldn't do it without the support of our community.

Heat Advisory:
A heat advisory remains in effect from 8:00am Wednesday, August 5, 2026 to 8:00am Thursday, August 6, 2026, this includes the cities of Loyalton, Westwood, Susanville in Lassen County.
Heat related illnesses will be more likely, especially for those spending extended periods outdoors, in poorly cooled indoor spaces, or who are sensitive to heat.

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
