Last Friday, DISC Village joined more than 30 wellness vendors at Doctors’ Memorial Hospital’s annual Health and Wellness EXPO 2026 in Perry!

Julia Flowers, Taylor County Human Services Supervisor, Katrina Hubbard, Case Manager, and Melissa Maddox-Reeves, CORE Network/MAT Director, represented DISC Village and connected attendees with information about our programs and services. The team also distributed harm reduction resources, including Naloxone (Narcan) and fentanyl test strips, to help our community stay informed and prepared.

On Saturday, September 26th, the Steinhatchee Farmer's Market was held at the local community center in Steinhatchee, FL, in Taylor County. Katrina, JMT Case Manager, attended the event and set up a table with resources and information regarding the programs and services that DISC Village offers. Katrina provided free harm reduction supplies such as Narcan to attendees. The Farmer's Market offers food and crafts, and local organizations are there to provide valuable information to community members regarding services in their community.

DISC Village recently connected with first-year students in FSU’s Mental Health Counseling program to share insight into our programs and services, harm reduction strategies, and working in behavioral health.
