Talent is here. Now, how do we make sure it stays here?

In a recent Tallahassee Democrat opinion piece, Chamber Director of Business Development Philip Browning shares why connecting local employers with the thousands of talented students already in our community is so important to Tallahassee’s future.

There’s a real opportunity to strengthen our talent pipeline and show the next generation of professionals why Tallahassee is a great place to build a career and a life.

Big thanks to the Florida State University - Herbert Wertheim College of Business for the opportunity!

Nearly 900 FSU students attended a local career fair, challenging the idea that graduates always leave the city.

Connecting local businesses with the talent shaping Tallahassee’s future! 🎓🤝

On Monday, the Florida State University - Herbert Wertheim College of Business TLH Talent Lives Here Career Fair brought together 27 businesses and 881 students to explore career opportunities right here in our community.

The Chamber was proud to help recruit local businesses to participate and connect directly with FSU students. Opportunities like these help students discover the careers available in Tallahassee while helping our local employers build relationships with the next generation of talent.

Keeping great talent in Tallahassee starts with creating connections like these. Thank you to all the businesses and students who participated!

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, honor the courage of the first responders and everyday heroes who stepped forward and reflect on the strength and unity shown in the days that followed.

May we never forget those whose lives were forever changed 25 years ago.
