Employment laws are changing, and staying informed can help your business stay prepared.

Join us for the next Beyond the Basics on Tuesday, August 25, as employment law attorneys Maria S. Hossain, Deborah Minnis, and Magie Ozarowski of Ausley McMullen break down recent developments in Florida employment law and what they mean for employers.

This practical conversation will help business owners and leaders better understand the changing employment landscape, minimize legal risk, and make more informed decisions when it comes to their workforce.

Thank you to our Presenting Sponsor, Campus USA Credit Union, and Workshop Sponsor, Capital Health Plan, for supporting valuable learning opportunities for our business community.

Day Four of gave us plenty to talk about on the ride home! 🌴

We wrapped up the 2026 Tallahassee Community Conference with our Closing Breakfast Session, presented by Stearns Weaver Miller, and some of the conversations our attendees look forward to most each year.

NAI TALCOR's Ed Murray Jr and Slaton Murray took the stage for the always highly anticipated commercial real estate update, giving us a look at what's coming to Tallahassee and the development, investment, and market trends shaping our community.

Then, Grady Miars of GreenPointe Holdings, LLC, Joe Everson of D.R. Horton Tallahassee/South Georgia, and Richard Darabi of Moore Bass Consulting joined us for a great conversation about master-planned communities and how thoughtful development can create places where people want to live, work, and stay.

We also got to end the morning by celebrating two organizations doing important work in our community! Through the Community Foundation of North Florida's grant giveaway, Bond Community Health Center and Elder Care Services, Inc. were selected to receive grants. Congratulations to both organizations, and thank you to the Community Foundation for making this special Conference tradition possible!

And just like that, another Conference weekend is in the books. Thank you to everyone who made the trip to Amelia Island, joined the conversations, made new connections, and helped make such a memorable weekend.

And of course, a special thank you to FSU Health, our Presenting Sponsor, for your support throughout the conference and your continued investment in the future of our community.

That's a wrap on ! See you next year!

After a Coffee Break presented by Grimsley and Company CPAs, attendees headed into two rounds of Breakout Workshops presented by James Moore & Co., Capital Health Plan, and TSpark Enterprises-Roofing & Construction Services, covering everything from healthcare and housing to entrepreneurship, talent, tourism, and regional economic development.

At our Lunch & General Session, sponsored by Meridian Blue Solutions, keynote speaker Don Yaeger brought lessons from some of the world's top performers in sports and business to the Conference stage, sharing what separates great teams and leaders and how organizations can intentionally build a culture of greatness.

Then it was time for some friendly competition with our Pickleball Tournament sponsored by Danfoss, Pickleball Drink Sponsor Miller's Tree Service, and Co****le Tournament presented by MidSouth Bank.
