Florida Division of Blind Services

Florida Division of Blind Services Official page of the Florida Division of Blind Services. We offer programs for the blind & V/I.

The Division of Blind Services (DBS) offers a variety of services to Floridians whose visual impairments significantly affect their ability to participate in daily activities. DBS programs provide valuable training to assist individuals who are blind, as well as those with usable but diminished vision. Blindness and diminished vision (often called low vision) can lead to developmental delays, poor

performance in school, reduced earnings in the workforce, and difficulty for seniors seeking maximum independence. DBS services are available to help remove barriers to education, employment and independence.
