In Rock Block, Mrs. Ralston’s 4th grade class has been learning how to recognize symmetry. Students wrote their names and cut around them to create a symmetrical shape. Then they used their creative eye to see details in their shapes.

EJ was a wonderful helper getting our flag ready for school this week.

He’s even ready for our first hat day tomorrow!!
It’s the first Friday of the month which means “hats off to a new month.”

Our 3rd–5th grade students are showcasing their creativity and artistic talents in a mini art gallery using sticky notes!🎨🖼️

Students are having a blast displaying their skills and celebrating one another’s creativity. We love seeing our C**ts shine and express themselves through art!

Mrs. Ferrell’s 3rd graders earned a DOUBLE C**t Cash reward today! 🎉 Students enjoyed cozy blankets and squishies while engaging in partner reading. What a fun way to celebrate hard work, positive choices, and a love for learning! 📚🐴

❤️🤍 We are so impressed by the level of intentional planning and instruction happening across High Point!🤍❤️

Our teachers are putting in the work to ensure every C**t has opportunities to grow, think deeply, and take ownership of their learning. From math classrooms where students are using manipulatives to build conceptual understanding to literacy instruction that challenges students to respond to text through meaningful constructed responses, the learning is intentional and engaging! 📚➕🔬

Our 5th grade scientists are doing more than learning science—they are learning to take ownership of their learning! Through tracking their data, setting meaningful goals, and reflecting on their progress, students are beginning to see just how important their hard work and growth truly are.

There is something powerful about a student being able to say, “This is where I am. This is where I want to go. And this is what I can do to get there.”🚀
