Welcome to Monday Morning Public Service Announcement.
To however, assumed this was good for humans (I would not even feed this to pigs) to receive you are very much mistaken. Our volunteers take a lot of time, effort, and pride in giving good quality foods to those that need it. One of our larger groups of folks that receive help is grandparents, and great grandparents and we would never think this would be ok to feed them. It has gone to the dumpster (which we pay for) because NO ONE should be subjected to rat infested (the stink alone should have been your sign) nasty food.

As our snowbird volunteers get ready to set flight south, we need a few good men and women to step into their roles. We are looking for Veggie Sorters/VeggieBaggers, Food Baggers/Ditribution and Drivers/Shot Gunners (if ya know ya know) with a good driving record, as you will be driving our rigs. Hours are 8 to noon(ish). Day needed (you can pick what day(s) work best for you): Monday, Tuesday, Thursday. Driving days are Monday (floater), Tuesday (home delivery floater), Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday (Floater). If this calls to you, give us a shout.

Doing our part helping our neighbors in need to the east. 1,616 pounds of water, rice, beans, pasta, meat, cookies, and more. was picked up by VFW State Commander Frank Persa to be delivered to Spokane today. This food will be cooked and distributed to those that have lost everything, the first responders, and anyone needing a hot meal during this difficult time as the fires continue in Eastern Washington.
