The Learning Center hosted the first FREE CPR/First Aid certification course last weekend! We are so thrilled to be able to be a part of this wonderful cause! Thanks to funding provided by The Early Childhood Partnership of Plymouth, Thomaston, and Watertown!

Also a thank you to and UConn Health for spending time at the event discussing the importance of mental health and skin care/sunscreen use!

The Learning Center received The Outstanding Community Business Award from last night! 🏆 We are so thrilled to be recognized as a longstanding community partner. TLC would not be where it is today without the many people guiding it throughout the last 40 years. Happy 2 year anniversary Miss Millie! 💖 Miss Millie has brought so much joy to The Learning Center! This year she stepped into the role of Head Teacher in the Frog Room and blew us all away! The children this year learned to speak Spanish, sew, make and create instruments, grow and care for gardens and so so much more! TLC is beyond lucky to have such a caring and dedicated educator as a part of our lead team! 🎉

Happy one year Anniversary to Miss Riley! Riley joined us last year in her junior year of high school, spending time with your children after her school day! Riley greats everyone with a welcoming smile and each child with a warm hug! Riley is heading off to Binghamton University in the Fall, join us in congratulating her! ❤️
