I can’t lie y’all we have been crushing it this week, must be a Golden Horseshoe hidden somewhere on my boat! All the species we wanted in all different sizes, covering a lot of water to find them but staying on action pretty consistently. Super awesome to be able to focus on quality fish this week, a lot of 14” reds running around, but we’ve put them back and made sure they were 16” or bigger so we can actually get a good filet off of them. Kept what we’ve wanted for a few dinners and released a pile of fish, full slate for the next 4 days, let’s see what we can get into. See y’all out there!!!

My group this morning told me they weren’t really expert anglers, but man you could’ve fooled me! They unhooked their own fish, managed multiple double ups, and got tangled lines free with fish pulling on the other end. Just an absolute clinic, all I did was bait hooks and stay out of the way so they could work! It was overslot red after overslot red for most of the morning, then as that bite died off we were able to pick up some of the other inshore species. Ended the day with a little flounder to hit that 5 species grand slam, and another beautiful overslot redfish on the last cast of the day. All fish put back to be caught again another day.
