Marching band season is approaching surprisingly fast! The marching 100 invites our members to a few startup events to get ready for the season.

⭐️ July 21 - BAND registration night
On this night at Peter Piper pizza, parents and students will meet the band in addition to this, we will collect important forms and intro you to the band!

⭐️Band Camp
Our band Campos split up into three waves: we have percussion and guard from July 22 to July 24, then we have rookies for July 23 and 24th, and finally we meet together as a full band the next week, July 27 through the 31st.

It is important to know that band camp is required from ALL band and guard members. If you have a conflict in which you cannot attend, please email the directors with the address in bio.

⭐️ July 31st - M100 Parent Show
On the final day of Band camp we will be putting on a show for our parents to witness. Prior to this show, parents will be introduced to our band booster club which is how any of these things are possible.

We will all be so excited to see y’all!

This Monday June 22nd, Mr.Sanders and I will be on THMS campus from 2:00- 4:00 PM to open up the Band Room and invite as many of you as would like to come to read through the show (and maybe some new stand tunes) together as a group! We would love to see as many of you as possible so we can get a jumpstart on next year!

HOW HAS BAND AFFECTED YOUR LIFE?
It has given me great friends. I've been able to learn to push myself even when things are hard.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE MEMORY FROM BAND?
Going on to the Illinois State University field during my junior year to perform for state finals.

HAVE YOU DONE ANY OUTSIDE PROGRAMS?
I participated in dance and animal club as well as volunteering at the local Kitten Lounge!

WHAT MADE YOU START BAND?
I always had music in my life and wanted to pursue the thing that gave me a place to go when school was hard.

WHAT ADVICE DO YOU HAVE FOR INCOMING FRESHMEN?
Have fun because it will fly by so fast and you want to make the most of it.

PLANS FOR AFTER HIGH SCHOOL?
Majoring in Criminology at Mississippi State University

A week from today (April 9th), we will be hosting our first Soundscapes concert in Tucson High's Almquist Theater.

The event will feature our percussion ensemble and various solos, duets, quartets, and other sized ensembles.

Event starts at 6:30 PM on April 9th
