The countdown is almost over! In just one week, our hallways will once again be filled with students, teachers and the excitement of a brand-new school year. We can't wait to welcome everyone back on Monday, Aug. 10!

Tuscaloosa Magnet Schools Principal Mrs. Constance Pewee-Childs is looking forward to the year ahead.

Congratulations to Dr. Constance Pewee-Childs on her appointment as interim principal of Tuscaloosa Magnet Schools - Elementary!

Already serving as principal of Tuscaloosa Magnet Schools–Middle, Dr. Pewee-Childs will expand her leadership role while continuing to guide a school recognized as both a State and National School of Character. With previous experience as the school counselor for both magnet schools, she brings a deep understanding of the students, staff, and families she serves.

"My goal is to continue building on the strong foundation already established, cultivate meaningful relationships, and work alongside our students, staff, and families to ensure every child experiences a seamless journey of excellence from elementary through middle school," said Dr. Pewee-Childs.

Congratulations, Dr. Pewee-Childs! We look forward to your continued leadership and the bright future ahead for both Tuscaloosa Magnet Schools.

🎉 Tuscaloosa Magnet Schools–Middle students Sadah Zaman and Londyn Rainer proudly represented their school and the Tuscaloosa City Schools district on the national stage at the FBLA National Leadership Conference in San Antonio, Texas!

A special congratulations to Sadah Zaman for earning 5th Place nationally in Exploring Professionalism! This outstanding accomplishment is a testament to her hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence. We are incredibly proud of her achievement and the way she represented our school and district.

We are also proud of FBLA Advisor Lizzie Williams, who earned national certifications in Fundamental Business Concepts and Concepts of Finance, demonstrating her continued commitment to professional growth and preparing students for success.
