NLC Library The official page for the Library at Northeast Lakeview College, part of the Alamo Colleges District Our collection of physical items numbers over 23,900.

The Northeast Lakeview College Library serves the students, faculty, staff, and surrounding community for Northeast Lakeview College, part of the Alamo Colleges District. We are also the official library for the Judson Early College Academy (JECA) which is located next to the NLC campus. While our library may appear small in size, we are huge in resources for our students! We have over 1,528,000 e

-books, e-audiobooks, e-videos, and e-journals. We also have over 400 databases that are available to our students while on-campus or via remote access. Our students have access to low-cost printers via our computer lab. We also provide dedicated information literacy instruction to our English 1301 students on how to conduct research within the library. Our reference librarians are available to provide information literacy instruction to all courses offered at NLC.

Did you know… that we have a STUDIO SPACE?!?!? 😲
One where you can, like, film stuff and record stuff??? You can even make your own MUSIC VIDEO (I’m speaking from experience, it’s a lot of fun heh 🤪)!!! The world is your oyster in this studio! And all you need to do is press ONE BUTTON and it’s doing all the work for you! 🤩

Stop by NLIB 109 on Thursday, March 19th from 12 to 1:30 PM for some PIZZA (did somebody say pizza???🍕), poetry (roses are red, violets are blue, where will you be on Thursday? You’ll be in NLIB 109, too! 🌹), and even a musical guest (we love to jam out here 🎶🎤)!!! Hope to see y’all there!

Andrea “Vocab” Sanderson is a San Antonio native and a Poet Laureate Emeritus of San Antonio, TX. 2020-2023. Her dynamic style’s a fusion of poetry, hip hop and R&B. She is an award-winning voice actress and teaching artist that enjoys facilitating workshops all over the nation. She has written commissioned works and opened up for Nikki Giovanni, Dr. Cornel West, and Phylicia Rashad. Vocab has authored two published books and is featured in numerous anthologies. A Pushcart Nominee, some of her awards include: Dream Voice 2018 awarded by The Dream Week Commission, The Arts and Letters Award, 2020, Impact Award 2023, Literary Excellence Award 2024 by Gemini Ink. Best Local Poet 2024, 2023, and 2021, by the San Antonio Current. In 2021, she received an Academy of American Poets Laureate Fellowship for her legacy project The Echo Project, which featured on KLRN. Her albums are available for streaming on all music platforms.

Nico may or may not be a hockey player, but he would totally be flying over to Cupid’s Crafting Corner which is where YOU should be tomorrow from 12:30 to 2:30 PM!
