📸 **THE PHOTOS ARE STARTING TO COME IN!** 📸

A huge thank you to **Coach Paladino's son** and to one of our **former Fort players** for being the first to share their Fort Schuyler baseball pictures with us. This is how the history comes back — one photo at a time. ⚾

**Now it's your turn.** We know there are more out there:

🗄️ Team photos from ANY era — the older, the better
🏆 Championship years, tournaments, road trips
🧢 Candid shots — dugouts, bus rides, the cage at the Post
👨‍👦 And if your dad, grandfather, or uncle wore the Fort uniform, check their albums too — the families of the **1952 undefeated champions**, we'd especially love to hear from you

Post them in the comments, message them to this page, or bring them by the Post and we'll help you scan them. And if you recognize a face in a photo someone shares, **say so in the comments** — putting names to faces is half the job.

We'll be featuring your photos in the weeks ahead as we count down to the return of Fort Schuyler baseball. 🏟️

Some programs have coaches. Fort Schuyler had Sal Paladino

For 20 seasons, Sal managed Fort Schuyler American Legion baseball. In those 20 summers, his teams:

⚾ Made the playoffs **14 times**
🏆 Won **3 Oneida County championships**
🏆 Brought home a **District Five crown**

Twenty years of lineups, bus rides, doubleheaders, and young men who showed up as ballplayers and left as something more. That's not a coaching stint — that's an era.

Before the Fort, Sal helped Notre Dame High School win three sectional titles and a state championship. After it, he coached at Waterville and on the staff at Utica College. But around here, he'll always be the manager of the Fort.

The dugout he ran for two decades is about to get loud again. ⚾

Thank you, Coach. This one's built on your foundation.
