The Valentine Police Department is asking for assistance from our community. A series of vehicle break-ins were reported today. We are asking anyone with a security camera to please review their saved footage. We believe the thefts occurred in the early hours of Monday April 6th between 2:00 AM and 5:00 AM. The thieves were active in the area between 1st and 7th Streets from Valentine Street to Wood Street.

If you have any information, we ask that you contact the Valentine Police Department at 402-376-3055. Please do not put any images or video in the comments, as this page is not monitored 24 hours a day. Instead, call our office and an officer will be assigned to respond.

We also ask our community members to not leave valuables in their vehicle, and to lock their cars and trucks, especially during the overnight hours.
