🎆 FIREWORKS SEASON IS HERE! 🎆
As fireworks stands begin opening across Victoria County, the Victoria County Fire Marshal’s Office would like to remind all Fireworks Stand Operators that a valid Fireworks Permit is required before conducting business.

🧨 Permits are issued for the annual term of June 1 through May 31.
🧨 Operators must obtain their permit before opening for sales.
🧨 Permits help ensure fireworks stands meet safety requirements designed to protect customers, employees, and the community during the busy holiday fireworks seasons.

The permit application can be found here:

➡️ After clicking the link, please select the “Miscellaneous Permit Application.”

We appreciate everyone doing their part to keep Victoria County safe while celebrating this fireworks season responsibly! 🇺🇸🎇

🇺🇸 Memorial Day 🇺🇸

As we gather with family and friends this Memorial Day, let us pause to remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

Their courage and selflessness gave us the liberties we enjoy today. While many celebrate the holiday, we honor those who never made it home and the families who carry their memory each day.

May we never forget the true meaning of Memorial Day.

❤️ Honor. Remember. Forever Grateful.

Do you know what’s in floodwaters?
The answer is no.

Floodwater is unpredictable and can carry everything from bacteria and sewage to chemicals, debris, and even hidden hazards.

If you can’t see what’s in it, don’t risk it.
Turn around, don’t drown.
