"Steal This Story, Please!" is a thought-provoking documentary on truth-telling, resistance, and journalism, centered on the lengthy career of acclaimed journalist and founder of Democracy Now!, Amy Goodman. This award-winning film will be shown at 7 pm TODAY, Wednesday, Aug. 3, at the Naro Expanded Cinema, 1507 Colly Ave, in Norfolk, VA. There will also be a live film introduction by journalist Steve Walsh. Walsh joined WHRO in 2023 to cover military and veterans. Steve has extensive experience covering the military and working in public media. In the early 2000s, he embedded with members of the Indiana National Guard in Kuwait and Iraq. Steve reports for NPR’s American Homefront Project, a national public media collaboration that reports on American military life and veterans.
