Join Activate America and Bridge 2 Blue as they call Virginia's CD-2 voters to return their mail ballots and finalize their plans to vote ahead of the November 3 general election. Every week, they're reaching voters across CD-2 to make sure they're ready to participate in one of the most competitive House races in the country — and to vote on three constitutional amendments protecting reproductive healthcare, marriage equality, and voting rights. These are high-stakes elections, and turnout will decide the outcome—they're making sure no voter is left behind.

They'll help voters who have already requested mail ballots complete and return them on time, understand key deadlines, and make a clear, confident plan to vote, whether by mail, early in person, or on Election Day. They'll also send follow-up texts with early voting, polling location, and ballot drop box information to those planning to vote early or on Election Day.

Virginia Beach Resistance is one of the partners supporting the COVA Coalition NO KINGS event on Saturday, October 17. That event includes 8 intersections in Norfolk and Virginia Beach. Within this group of locations, we are specifically hosting the intersection of Virginia Beach Blvd. and Witchduck Rd. in Virginia Beach. Join us there from 11 am to 1 pm. After you sign up, you'll receive a form and can then select the intersection of Virginia Beach Blvd. and Witchduck Rd. Good parking is available just north of that corner at the old Southside Harley-Davidson shop at 385 N. Witchduck Rd., which closed in February. The towing company listed on an old sign there isn't even in business anymore. It does seem that local residents are parking there; however, we didn't try to get permission, so parking is on you.

We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events.
