In observance of Juneteenth, City Offices will be closed on Friday, June 19, 2026.

Please Note: The 500 Block of Chestnut Street will be closed on June 19, 2026 for the Juneteenth Event from 11 am - 3 pm. All are cordially invited to attend!

On Saturday, Chestnut Street and 5th Avenue will be closed for the Land of the Loon parade!

TONIGHT we continue our 2026 season of Music in the Park series in Olcott Park by the Fountain.

This weeks Featured Artist, Octapella is a favorite from last year returning to entertain us again with their sweet harmonies and vocals. Attendees should bring a chair or blanket with them. Food and Refreshments will be available to purchase provided by local vendors that are supporting the concert series.

The show will be starting at 6:00PM and running till approximately 8:00PM in the event of Rain we may move the the Iron Trail Motors Event Center or to the Bandstand in Olcott Park. Check back here on our Social Media for updates.

This week on Tuesday evening we continue our 2026 season of Music in the Park series in Olcott Park by the Fountain.

🎣 Don't forget to Join us on the shores of Silver Lake TODAY for the 50th Annual Iron Range Rotary Gary Carlson Memorial Kid’s Fishing & Casting Contest! 🎣

We’re excited to have the Iron Range Rotary host this longtime community tradition on Silver Lake in Virginia on at the Kline Cuppoletti Building TODAY!

🕚 Casting Contest begins at 11:00 AM
🎣 Fishing Contest runs Noon to 3:00 PM

Kids will compete for major prizes in both the fishing and casting contests, with over $6,000 in prizes awarded! Every participant will also receive a door prize.

🌭 Free hot dogs, chips, and pop for all participants.

Bring the family out for a fun afternoon on the lake and help us celebrate with the Iron Range Rotary Club 50 years of this great event.
