🎶 Last free concert at the library this summer - tonight! Don’t miss it! 🎶

Late Summer Live Concert: The Jagaloons
THIS Thursday, September 24, starting at 6:30 pm.
Join us for a free all-ages surf rock concert.
Hailing from Albany NY, The Jagaloons play guitar-driven, reverb-drenched, all-instrumental rock and roll. The trio takes the surf music of the 1960s and adds modern and eclectic influences, creating their own unique sound. The Jagaloons have performed in clubs and on festivals across the US and in Europe since 2015 with some big names in the surf scene like Messer Chups, Surfer Joe, The Surfrajettes, and Los Tiki Phantoms along with many other bands like Electric Six, The Slackers and Bob Log III. All ages, no registration needed.

A HUGE thank you to the incredibly hard working Encore Books Coordinators & volunteers, bake sale & raffle organizers, volunteer bakers & all the other volunteers who jumped in and made our 2026 event a great success! Big thanks also to all of you in the community who donated books and other materials, and who came to visit the sale & went home with bags full! Finally, the Friends of the Library Board and Officers want to thank the Voorheesville Public Library administrators & staff for giving up their space, helping out, and putting up with us all weekend! We all worked together to make the Big Fall Book Sale a big success, raising funds that will go a long way toward supporting many of the library's popular programs through the year. THANK YOU!

YES!!! The Book Sale is still ON today! Mother Nature won't stop our awesome volunteers! And it's Fill-A-Bag Day! We've moved almost everything inside, in the Community Room and hallway. The blue (Encore) sheds will be open as long as the rain & wind don't get too bad. Please use care! We have more bake sale items, and raffle tickets are available until 2 pm. We hope to see you soon!

Book sale hours tomorrow are 11 am until 3 pm — mostly inside the Community Room but the blue sheds will also be open, weather permitting!

GREAT NEWS!!! We decided to start our Fill-A-Bag day today!!! $10 to fill your own bag, or purchase our huge cotton canvas FOL bag and FILL it for $20! We also have some great raffles and an awesome BAKE SALE with so many delicious goodies!

We have a HUGE Book Sale for you this weekend! And it’s a beautiful day! Tons and tons of books of all varieties, lots of great puzzles, DVDs & CDs, and some great raffles! We’re until 7 pm tonight, and again Saturday & Sunday. Hope to see you!
