We had our monthly county wide training Thursday night with members from our department as well as Upper KQ Vol Fire, Lower KQ Vol Fire, and KQ County EMS staff in attendance.
Chief Hall with our department led the training on the topic of dump tanks.
We are especially proud of our cadet and junior members for their dedication and willingness to learn more at each of these trainings.

When they say, “Teamwork Makes The Dream Work” - that’s such a true statement. We couldn’t do what we do without the support of our brothers and sisters in our neighboring departments.

Yesterday, members of the Walkerton Community Fire Association were honored to attend an event at King William High School celebrating local graduate Demond Claiborne following his recent NFL Draft selection to the Minnesota Vikings.

At the request of King William leadership, our crew brought an apparatus to support this special community event. While on scene, our team remained in service and ready to respond to any emergency calls as needed, along with King William Fire & EMS.

We are proud to support opportunities that bring our community together—especially moments like this that highlight the achievements of one of our own. Congratulations Demond on this incredible accomplishment! Based on the turnout yesterday, it was evident that our community is rooting for you and are so proud. You are an inspiration to so many.

We wish him all the best in this new journey he is about to embark on.

We had so much fun Saturday at our 1st Annual Breakfast With The Bunny and our 3rd Annual Walkerton Easter Egg Hunt! 🐰 🐣

Thank you for coming out to support us, for hanging with us as we navigated through the breakfast, and for braving the cold and windy conditions of the egg hunt.

We hope the kiddos had fun and we look forward to doing it again next year 🤩

Tomorrow morning from 8:30am - 10am we will have a $5 pancake breakfast at the fire house~ 2874 Walkerton Landing Road.
Breakfast, crafts, and an opportunity to take pictures of your kiddos with Peter Cottontail himself!
All are welcome 🐣

At 11am we will have our 3rd annual Egg Hunt in the field behind Scott’s Store~ 2940 Walkerton Road.
Egg hunt ages (5 & below, and 6-12) 🐇

The bunny himself hopped by the station this week to confirm his reservations for next Saturday!! 🐰

We hope you can join us for our 1st annual Breakfast With The Bunny on Saturday March 28th from 8:30am - 10am followed by our 3rd Annual Easter Egg Hunt at 11 am.

The breakfast is at our station and costs $5.
The egg hunt will be in the usual spot in the field behind Scott’s Store!! Make sure to bring your baskets/buckets!
