..A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT PORTIONS OF NORTHERN AUGLAIZE
COUNTY THROUGH 915 PM EDT...

At 841 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Spencerville In
Allen County, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to
vegetation.

Locations impacted include...
Wapakoneta, Fort Shawnee, Cridersville, Waynesfield, Moulton,
Buckland, Uniopolis, Kossuth, and St. Johns.

This includes I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 110 and 118.

..COLD AIR FUNNELS THIS AFTERNOON/EVENING...

Showers and thunderstorms will be capable of producing brief cold
air funnels this afternoon and evening. Several funnel clouds
have already been spotted across west-central Ohio, with this
feature potentially moving into central Ohio over the coming
hours. Keep in mind, the majority of these funnels will not reach
the ground, but if they do, gusty winds and minor damage may
occur.

Cold air funnels have been spotted in Auglaize County about 20 minutes ago. Very rare that the touch down. As you watch them you will see no rotation the are suspend from the cloud and will go back up and dissipate. If you happen to see one please post location and picture on this site.

They bring local first responders, government agencies, and nonprofit agencies to the table to plan and train before disaster strikes. Keeping their communities safe and resilient is a top priority.

August is dedicated to recognizing and thanking the emergency managers from all 88 Ohio counties for their commitment, effort, and tireless work that often goes unseen.

LOGAN...SOUTHWESTERN HARDIN AND NORTHEASTERN AUGLAIZE COUNTIES
THROUGH 1015 AM EDT...

At 940 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Fort Shawnee,
moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Nickel size hail, frequent cloud-to-ground lightning, and
very heavy rain.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation. Lightning can
cause serious injury or death. Visibility will be poor and
hydroplaning is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Kenton, Fort Shawnee, Cridersville, Alger, Waynesfield, Belle Center,
Chippewa Park, Northwood, Roundhead, Rushsylvania, Mcguffey,
Uniopolis, Silver Creek, Jumbo, Huntersville, Walton, New Hampshire,
Big Springs, and State Route 195 at State Route 235.

This includes I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 115 and 118.

At 909 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Botkins, moving
southeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Penny size hail, frequent cloud-to-ground lightning, and
very heavy rain.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation. Lightning can
cause serious injury or death. Visibility will be poor and
hydroplaning is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Bellefontaine, Wapakoneta, Anna, Jackson Center, Russells Point, De
Graff, Botkins, Lakeview, Quincy, Huntsville, Port Jefferson,
Kettlersville, Fryburg, Montra, Logansville, Mcmorran, Maplewood,
