ECLIPSE POP UP VIEWING EVENT: Wednesday, August 12th from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
A partial solar eclipse will be occurring this Wednesday, 16% of the sun will be covered by the moon at peak. (Totality will run through Greenland, Iceland, into Portugal and then Spain). We've managed to find a few pairs of eclipse glasses from last year and welcome you to come to the library and view the eclipse from our courtyard. The eclipse begins at 1:01 p.m. with peak (16% coverage) at 1:55 p.m. The event will be over by 2:46 p.m. WE DO NOT HAVE GLASSES TO GIVE AWAY, as we only have a few pairs. Come on down to the library and share in the usage of the glasses. Bring a snack or lunch to enjoy outside and come watch this solar event. Remember, never look directly at the sun. Come on down and use our eclipse glasses.

With cucumber-mint water, ice cream, and light snacks, the Wicked Good Henna & Spa Day event was a HUGE success thanks to Mandy Roberge's great artwork!

Check out the pictures of the happy participants enjoying a chill morning with nail polish, coloring pages, and opportunities to socialize with friends and family.

This was so much FUN, and the WFL will definitely do this again! Thanks for joining us this summer for our TWEEN/TEEN programs.

You missed last Friday's Pop-up Craft? Well...keep your eyes on this page and the WFL Events Calendar.

Pop-ups will be announced just 24 hours in advance and offered for diverse age groups.

Here are the pictures from our Washi-Wrapped Pencils and Pencil Topper craft. The kids made beautiful writing implements they can take to school or give as gifts. Parents, this is an easy craft to reimagine at home, and the results are super for teacher gifts and unexpected events.
