Just before 10am EMS was dispatched to Lions Pride Park for a subject that fell on the trail. Given the nature of the call career staff on Medic Rescue 78 responded along with Assistant 275 and Medic and Chief 134. Fire personnel made initial contact and found the subject to be in a section that had limited access to vehicles. ATV 15 from Horsham Fire Company was requested to respond and assist with removal of the subject to the awaiting ambulance. With the arrival of the ATV the subject was safely transported to the waiting ambulance. A great example of public safety teamwork in the community!

The Warrington Township Police Department is investigating a serious traffic crash that occurred on County Line Road at Folly Road on August 3, 2026 at 10:00 am. Police are asking anyone who witnessed the crash or may have information to please contact Sgt Kevin Stebner at 215-343-3311.

Deputy 78, Battalion 78-1, and Rescue 78 responded yesterday to assist Horsham Fire Company on an Auto Extrication on County Line Road. Station 78 units arrived on scene and found the incident to be on the Horsham side. Rescue 78’s crew completed a passenger side removal of the vehicle to free the patient with assistance from Horsham Fire, while Rescue 78’s paramedic provided patient care before turning them over to EMS.

It’s been a Warrington Fire tradition that new employees must wear a basic front piece during their probationary period and until they make both a fire and rescue.

Rescue and Deputy 78 responded to assist Fairmount Fire Company Of Lansdale on this multi-alarm fire this morning. Crews set up RIT on side ‘C’ and assisted with overhaul. The Department operated for approximately two hours before returning to Warrington.

At 10:27 AM, Warrington Fire was dispatched to a local business on Easton Road for the report of a stuck elevator with one person trapped inside.
On arrival, responders found the external elevator doors to be off the track.

Crews worked on numerous standard methods to extricate the subject, who was in no distress. After just under an hour of attempting multiple standard methods to release the doors, and no ETA from the elevator company, the decision was made to manually drop the hydraulic elevator to a lower floor. Crews were able to access the elevator car at the bottom floor and remove the subject, who was happy to be free!

Just under a year ago staff attended classes with Dragon Rescue Management, Inc. and gained a lot of advanced knowledge. After the class, a compliment of elevator rescue tools were added to Rescue 78 to better handle these situations. Another example of training paying off!

Last week, Captains Faust and Serowsky attended the 1006 Trench Rescue Technician class at Bucks County Public Safety Training Center. This 40 hour class taught responders how to mitigate collapse and non-collapse emergencies that can occur in trenches commonly found in the construction and utility industries. A great class with valuable information that can be used to keep our community safe!
