The Human Library is a library of people and their experiences. Instead of paperback and hardcover books, actual people are on “loan” for conversations. The Human Library creates a safe space for conversations and opportunities to learn about others with life experience that might be different from your own.

On Thursday, August 27, from 10:30am-4pm, AU Library invites you to “check out” human books—individuals with lived experiences that might be outside your everyday world.

Use this opportunity to engage in honest, open dialogue. Hear their stories. Ask questions. Listen deeply. Unjudge someone.
