Come with us, as we get a DC DMV vehicle inspection! It really is that easy. Our Inspection station is open from 7am - 3pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and 8am - 3pm on Wednesdays!

We also have our Self-Service Emissions Kiosks open 24/7 at Takoma and Fort Stanton Recreation Centers!

Seat Check Saturday returns on Saturday, September 26, 2026 from 8am to 2:30pm at DC DMV's Inspection Station located at 1001 Half Street SW DC.

Our Child Passenger Safety Technician team will be performing car seat safety checks and will be giving out free* car seats while supplies last. *Please have your little one with you to ensure they have the right carseat along with proof of your DC Residency.
