We will be working again with Diane in August, but she teaches regularly at Thatcher State Park as well, so feel free to check out her offerings there at the Nature Center if you need some more immediate hands-on experience.

The library will be closed on June 19th, 2026, in recognition of Juneteenth. We will reopen at 10 am on Saturday, June 20th.

🌻 Sunshine on canvas! Participants spent an evening (June 4th) painting vibrant sunflower scenes while practicing acrylic painting techniques. We love seeing how each artist puts their own creative spin on the same subject. Check out these blooming masterpieces! 🎨

💎 We had a wonderful time turning broken jewelry into works of art! Participants used an assortment of necklaces, gems, and jewelry to create one-of-a-kind pieces full of color, texture, and creativity. Take a look at some of the stunning results from Saturday's program! Huge thanks to Dawn (Dawn's Art & Soul) for this amazing program.

And the results are in! Our library budget passed this evening 46-1, thanks to the Waterford-Halfmoon Union Free School District taxpayers. Our one board candidate, Francis Hogan, was elected to a second 5-year term. For anyone interested, the full budget breakdown can be found on our website. Printed copies are available at the library by request. We look forward to continuing to serve our wonderful community.

It's finally time to share our 2025 Community Report! We are so excited about all the cool things we got to do in 2025 and can't wait to see what the second half of 2026 has to offer. It's also been just over a year since I (Chloe) started as your new director, and it has been an absolute pleasure to get to know all of you and work in this beautiful community.
