November is National Family Caregivers Month!

Caring for someone you love can be rewarding, but it can also be exhausting. When you’re focused on everyone else’s needs, it’s easy to put your own needs last. Over time, stress can lead to caregiver burnout.

Remember: Taking care of yourself isn’t selfish. It’s essential. You deserve support, rest, and time to recharge, too.

Now through the end of November, Iowa’s Area Agencies on Aging will share helpful information, practical tips, and valuable resources each week to support caregivers and remind them that they don’t have to navigate this journey alone.
