This is the last week to view the SUNY Fredonia' Visual Arts and New Media Works with and On Paper in the Patterson Library Octagon Gallery. This student exhibition comes down, Saturday and Monday.
The next exhibition will be "Bending Tradition" with Brian Millspaw on Friday, November 6,2026 from 5pm-7pm.

A Powerful Portrait of Humanity

About the Artist
Patrick Stokes is a portrait photographer whose work blends curiosity, wonder, and emotional depth. Over the past several years, he has traveled extensively and spent significant time in Ukraine working with humanitarian efforts, documenting over 7,000 images of the people he served.

Giggle & Grow Storytime
Fridays at 10:30 am
Giggle and Grow is a fun, educational storytime created for children ages 3 to 5 and their families. We enjoy stories, songs, and a simple craft or activity in a warm, welcoming environment, and children of all ages are always welcome to join the fun.

Zoom Room
Thursdays at 10:15 am
Playtime for Toddlers (ages 0-3) - Join us for Zoom Room, a fun and friendly playtime for toddlers. With tricycles, foam blocks, and plenty of room to move, it is a wonderful chance for little ones to play with others, make new friends, and burn off energy.

Lego Club
Saturdays 10:30 am- 11:30am
Families are invited to drop in for LEGO fun every Saturday morning. Build alongside other LEGO lovers using our large collection of bricks and LEGO sets, and enjoy a relaxed, creative time together.

DND Teens
Select Saturdays 10:00 am- 2:00 pm

Teens are invited to roll for adventure and join our Dungeons & Dragons crew on select Saturdays. Dates and details are posted on the CCLS Teen Discord under Patterson DnD, so grab your dice and get ready for an epic quest with new friends!

MTG the Club

Teens are invited to shuffle up and join fellow Magic: The Gathering players for friendly games on most Saturdays.
Check with the Children’s Librarian to confirm the schedule, since Magic does not meet on D&D Saturdays.

Patterson Teen & Tween Advisory Board
Thursday, October 8 at 4:00 pm & continuing every month on the first Thursday at 4pm running through May.
Patterson Library invites tweens and teens to join us for quesadillas as PTTAB continues sharing ideas & helping shape future teen and tween activities at the library.
PTTAB members can earn volunteer hours while making a real impact.

Teen & Tween Cozy Crafters
The third Thursday of every month at 4:00 PM.
Running October through April, excluding December.
Join us for a relaxed, creative space just for tweens and teens. Learn to crochet, build your skills, or craft with friends.
Bring your own supplies to keep working on your project, or use the yarn and hooks provided. Not into crochet? Feel free to bring embroidery, knitting, or another portable craft. Want to try something new? Let’s make it happen.

*We do not have our regular programs on days that Westfield School is closed.
