Carroll County 4-H Families! The 2026 October 4-H Tribune is now available!

Make sure to check out all of the exciting workshops taking place! Along with celebrating National 4-H Week! Wear green and support 4-H all week!

Senior 4-H members!!! This is your opportunity to apply for National 4-H Trips, including National 4-H Conference which is due by November 15th!! If you want to apply and can't make the workshop, Becky or Jennie are more than happy to meet with you at other times!

We will also be kicking off a Carroll County 4-H Shirt Fundraiser! Take a look at the flyer and check out all of the designs! You might just need 1 in every design! Funds raised will help support general 4-H programming.

Have you been looking for something for your 5 to 18 year old (as of January 1st) to join? Look no further than the Carroll County 4-H Program! There are LOTS of opportunities starting at a local club to county and state wide 4-H events! And the fall is a great time to find that perfect club for your family to join before the new enrollment year starts.

We officially kicked off our 4-H Chef Academy tonight! We had lots of fun learning how to make pancakes that we could add blueberries or chocolate chips too! We learned the steps in cooking bacon in the oven and browning sausage links. Each 4-Her made a pancake mix to take home, along with an egg casserole they can bake in the morning!!

Tricks and Treats are in store for the 2026 Clover Halloween Party!

Fun games, crafts and some trick or treating are all planned for our clover members! Everyone is encouraged to wear their Halloween costume. You’re welcome to bring a friend with you too! The Clover Halloween party will be hosted by the 4-H Ambassador Team and held on Friday, October 23rd, 6pm at the Extension Office.

Opportunity for Carroll County 4-H Members!

Get ready to get your hands messy and your creativity flowing! In this two-part series (8 and 18 years old), you’ll learn how to build, design, and decorate your very own clay wind chime using kiln-fired clay.

In the first session, you’ll learn fun handbuilding techniques like pinch pots and slab work to shape your wind chime.
Then, in the second session, you’ll add your own personal style with colorful ceramic glazes.

Your finished wind chime will be fired in a kiln and ready for pick-up about one week after the second class. Participants must attend both classes to complete their project. Come and create something unique that you can hang up and enjoy at home!

Carroll County 4-H Members 8 years old and older!!! You are in luck. We've had a few spots become available in our first Chef Academy - Breakfast Workshop. The workshop will be held on Friday, September 18th, 6pm at the Extension Office.
