When crews work 24-hour shifts, the firehouse becomes home, and home needs dinner. Firefighters pool their own money, shop for ingredients, and cook meals together at the station. Fun fact: the firefighter driving the truck is usually the head chef for the day! 🚒🔥

Our Firefighters recently participated in hands-on training focused on strengthening their skills and preparedness.

The session emphasized thermal imaging knowledge and techniques, along with repeated drills on hose movement, water flow techniques, and hoseline communication. These continued trainings ensure our crews stay ready to respond safely and effectively when it matters most. 🔥

Over the weekend, Whitehall Firefighters spent time in live fire conditions sharpening critical skills including fire attack, search, victim rescue, and incident command.

This type of hands on training prepares our crews for the moments that matter most. When the call comes in, they are ready.
